Public education is a huge part of the Phase II NPDES Stormwater Permit.
This is where many municipalities run short of resources and expertise.

by other cities and give technical assistance on stormwater issues.
Texas Stream Team
Texas Stream Team is a program that trains and educates volunteers to gather
environmental data through stream monitoring. Texas Watch is a prime opportunity
for public involvement. The local partner for this program is the Houston-Galveston
Area Council.

Clean Water Clear Choice is an educational website for professionals, children,
and the general public. It is sponsored by the joint task force consisting
of City of Houston, Harris County (HC), Harris County Flood Control District
(HCFCD) and Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT).
