LAND USE PLANNING


When selecting BMPs to implement as part of you stormwater management program, land planning generally isn’t usually at the top of the list. Land planning includes low impact development, utilizing green space, and choosing environmentally sensitive design practices. These BMPs are long-term in nature and definitely fit into any stormwater management program.

National Council for Science and the Environment
